After Tomorrowland ended, we had to leave the festival camping grounds by Noon but our train back to Amsterdam wasn't until 19:00 so we had more time to explore the city than last year. Rather than just walk a few blocks around the train station, we walked into the center of town to see the Mont des Arts and the Grand-Place. We had a delicious lunch at Cave du Roy, right in the Grand-Place. I had a steak which came out on a flaming hot (literally) metal plate with belgian fries. We had walked past an escape room game place called Enygma so we tried to get tickets for one that day, but they were all sold out. Instead, we walked around the city some more, got caught in the rain for a bit, bought some chocolate to bring back home, and then made it back to the train station with plenty of time for our trip back to Amsterdam.
