Returned to the Anua divesite which was the same one as I had done first on Monday, but unfortunately this time we didn't see any Manta Rays.
Shortly into the dive, saw this school of fish that looked neon green or neon blue depending on how the light hit them. Saw a small Hawksbill Sea Turtle tucked into the coral, but he was the only one we saw.
Just before we turned around, we did see some rays, but these were spotted eagle rays instead of the manta rays. They were pretty far away and visibility wasn't great, so it was hard to see them, but at least we got to see some rays. We were about 20' off the ocean floor around 40' looking for the mantas but when I saw the eagle rays on the bottom, I signaled to the divemaster that I was going to go down to take a better picture of them. They slid away from me before I could get a good picture though.
Today's second dive was the same spot as the second dive on Monday. The guides offered to go to Tapu Canyon which was right next to this one, but they said it wasn't as good since there weren't as many sharks and it didn't have any other positives to it. We decided to stick with Tapu Nui since I was excited to see the sharks again anyway.
