Our second day at sea, we’re now well into the Drake Passage. As soon as you mention that you’re going to Antarctica everyone always warns about this part of the voyage as the waters are notoriously rough as three oceans come together. We took Dramamine just to be on the safe side as the ship was definitely rolling with the seas. I took some time to explore the ship and take some photos up on the captain’s bridge where we were fortunate enough to have access to throughout the trip. The ship’s crew are all incredibly friendly and it has the service of a fine hotel, including turn-down service of our beds in the evening with a little chocolate on the pillow.
