Slept in a bit day since I couldn't sleep last night, although it got really difficult to sleep once the sun came up and the tent got very hot. Fortunately I had brought a portable fan which helped. Had lunch and just explored the Dreamville area a bit, hung out on the hammock for a bit, and just chilled. Headed into the venue around 17:00.

The first artist that I went to see was back at the back end of the venue at the Freedom stage which was the Symphony of Unity. I had never heard of them before, but Harris told me I had to check them out. They were incredible! A full symphony orchestra performing renditions of popular EDM songs. I wish I had gotten to see the whole set since they were one of the highlights of the festival for me and I missed most of it since I didn't calculate how long it would take me to walk all the way there.

Today's highlights include Dom Dolla, Gryffin, Alok, Lost Frequencies, Acraze, Push, Rezzmau5, and Timmy Trumpet.

It was quite hot during the day today so I spent much of the day without my shirt on and dancing to the music. When I got back to Dreamville, I desperately needed a shower before heading to bed. Unfortunately the shower situation was one of my least favorite experiences of the festival. Each campground "district" has its own shower building where you can pay a few euros for a nice warm, clean shower. Or you can shower outside with cold water for free. (Many folks didn't mind getting naked and showering in front of everybody outside.) However, the shower buildings closed at 10pm, despite the festival going until 1am. Out of the entire campground, there was ONE shower building that was open until 2am but I had to trek from the venue to my tent to get my stuff and then find that shower building, getting there just before they closed. I feel like all of the shower buildings really should be open until 2am or later.
