Along Blome road in Indian Hill, there is this quite interesting gate off to the
side of the road. Most people pass it by thinking it's nothing, but it looked pretty cool
to me. |
Aren't the trees behind the gate nice? There is also a little path
of a road behind the gate, but it is obvious that the Indian Hill Powers That Be
don't want you back there (hence the poles). |

More proof that I like this old gate -- it has so many neat colors in it. |
Some may say that it is just an old rusted out, rotted gate; but I
see History here. Look at that stone -- this gate opened the door to someone
really important's home and people looked up to it, just like the Ranger who
sits in Lindner's driveway. :) |

Doesn't look like much from the street, eh? |

One lane bridge. Some motorists almost consider this an annoyance
because you have to stop and wait for the other people. Nice thing to calm
one down after a busy day at work, IMHO. |

Study this picture. You can see the historic-ness come out in the bright
steel. |
Look different without any cars? This is a rare find. |
|
|
Would you believe they almost wanted to tear down this bridge?
They have kept it, however, because of its historic value. |

Just checking for trolls -- alot of these old bridges have them, you know. |
Walk just a few feet from the bridge and see this nice waterfall. |

You don't have to go far in Indian Hill to get submersed in nature.
Maybe that's why everyone here has big yards with lots of woods -- it's serene. |
Water is life. |
